Job Summary:
Grossberg Company LLP has maintained a reputation for excellence in accounting, tax, and business consulting services for over 100 years. They are seeking an IT Support Technician I to provide helpdesk support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and assist with the setup and deployment of workstations and equipment.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Provide helpdesk support and resolve PC and related problems both onsite and remotely.
โ€ข Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk.
โ€ข Provide support for basic IT issues such as password resets, peripheral configurations, desktop/laptop and tablet configurations, software installations and hardware repair.
โ€ข Install, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software.
โ€ข Maintain inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses.
โ€ข Manage PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware and software.
โ€ข Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required.
โ€ข Provision new hardware for new and existing users and reimage computers.
โ€ข Support new hires, employee changes and terminations.
โ€ข Handle other projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข High school diploma, or equivalent
โ€ข Experience with Windows
โ€ข Ability to maintain complete confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
โ€ข Solutions-oriented, problem solver with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective work relationships
Preferred:
