Job Description

Great Starting Salary for someone interested and qualified. This position requires some mechanical aptitude but more important is willing to take on new challenges and has a positive attitude. We will provide training and a career path.  

Must be a motivated self-starter who will work with and assist the Lead technicians. They should have a sense of urgency, is detail focused, well organized and works well in a fast-paced environment. A Field Apprentice should have the ability to demonstrate the ability to comprehend and perform various labor duties, take direction and execute tasks with minimal supervision

Essential Functions:

  • Completes all work in a professional, timely and thorough manner
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor with both our external and internal customers
  • Be able to communicate effectively with our customer base while providing a high level of customer service
  • Can attend out of state training when it is presented as well as participate in local training to maintain the skills necessary to continue serving our customer base
  • Complete any additional assignments above and beyond their normal work duties
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Has a valid Driver's License, and has the ability to travel within our geographical area without any restraints
  • Outstanding verbal, written, and listening skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a group environment as well as independently to achieve the goals set forth by the organization
  • Organized, self-motivated, and the ability to work independently
  • Ability to work under pressure and time constraints of the business needs
  • Excellent skills using basic Microsoft functions to include but no limited to Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, etc.

Competencies:

  • Demonstrate a high level of customer service and the ability to work well with others
  • Self-starter that can work with little to no supervision
  • Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly
  • Able to obtain and retain any licenses that are required by national, state, and local codes
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customers' requirements
  • Strong work ethic and integrity
  • Capable of performing physical labor
  • Proficient in the use of computer systems and related programs, including MS Office and iPhone apps
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Detailed oriented and strong problem-solving skills
