Budget Analyst
Location: Laredo, TX
Company: Ariva Homes
Ariva Homes is seeking a detail-oriented Budget Analyst to support the financial planning and budgeting of residential construction projects. This role will work closely with operations, purchasing, and construction teams to analyze project costs, prepare budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and help ensure projects remain financially on track.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in construction, estimating, budgeting, cost analysis, purchasing, accounting, or project management who enjoy working with numbers and solving problems.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain project budgets for residential construction projects.
  • Analyze material, labor, and subcontractor costs.
  • Review plans, specifications, and project requirements to support budget development.
  • Prepare cost estimates and budget projections for new projects.
  • Monitor project costs and identify budget variances.
  • Work closely with purchasing, construction, and operations teams to ensure accurate cost forecasting.
  • Assist in evaluating vendor and subcontractor pricing.
  • Generate reports and recommendations to improve cost efficiency and profitability.
  • Support management with financial analysis and project cost tracking.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in budgeting, estimating, purchasing, accounting, construction, or cost analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to interpret plans, specifications, and project documentation is a plus.
  • Experience in residential construction is preferred but not required.
