Job Summary
The IT Support Specialist is the main person employees contact when they need help with technology. This role focuses on helping users with computer issues, setting up new equipment, and fixing common software and hardware problems. You will also help support basic IT systems and work closely with outside vendors when needed.
This position is 100% on-site at our Omaha, NE facility.
What You’ll Do
Help employees with computer, printer, phone, and software issues
Respond to IT requests in person, by phone, email, or ticket system
Set up and maintain laptops, desktops, and mobile devices
Reset passwords and help with account access
Support Microsoft programs like Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and Office
Fix basic network and Wi‑Fi issues
Prepare computers for new hires and collect equipment from exiting employees
Keep track of IT equipment and inventory
Document problems and solutions clearly
Follow IT security rules and company policies
What We’re Looking For

Ability to solve problems and follow instructions
Comfortable working with computers and technology
Ability to handle multiple requests at one time
Attention to detail and good organization
Education amp; Experience
Associate degree in IT or related field preferred
2–4 years of IT helpdesk or technical support experience required
Experience with Windows computers and Microsoft 365
IT certifications are a plus, but not required
