Job description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Help Desk Specialist to support mission-critical defense communications and secure operational networks. This position is onsite in Centennial, CO and will provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support in a 24/7 operations environment, helping maintain system availability and mission readiness. Responsibilities for the Help Desk Specialist Include: • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for hardware, software, applications, networking, and connectivity issues. • Manage and prioritize incidents through phone, ticketing, and monitoring systems while ensuring timely resolution. • Troubleshoot Windows systems, applications, TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, routing, switching, and secure communications. • Perform root-cause analysis, track recurring issues, and identify opportunities to improve support processes. • Document troubleshooting and corrective actions and escalate complex issues to appropriate technical teams. • Support mission operations and Systems Integration Laboratory (SIL) activities as needed. Qualifications for the Help Desk Specialist Include: • 2+ years of experience providing Tier 1/Tier 2 technical support. • Experience supporting Windows environments, enterprise applications, networking, and ticketing systems. • Strong troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and customer service skills. • Bachelor's degree required. • Active Secret Clearance required. • Ability to work in a 24/7 operational environment, including assigned shifts.
