Help Desk Technician

Are you passionate about technology and enjoy helping others solve technical issues? We are seeking a customer-focused Help Desk Technician to provide first-level technical support to internal users. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Tier 1 technical support via phone, email, chat, and in person
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, and basic network issues
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
  • Create, document, and resolve support tickets in the IT ticketing system
  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary
  • Set up user accounts, passwords, and access permissions
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding employees, including equipment deployment
  • Document solutions and maintain accurate technical records
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while meeting service level expectations

Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of Help Desk, Desktop Support, or Technical Support experience
  • Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365
  • Experience supporting Active Directory, Azure AD, or Entra ID preferred
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk, or Freshservice
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Experience supporting printers, VPNs, and remote users
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications are a plus
