Job description

Help Desk L1 - Full Time Remote
Project Details:
We're hiring a remote Help Desk Technician to join a managed IT services team supporting business, healthcare, education, municipal, and manufacturing clients across the country. You'll spend your day on the phone and in the ticket queue, resolving workstation and application issues for end users. This is a strong entry point for someone who wants to build a career in IT support, with a defined path toward Tier 2 and specialization.
Must Haves:
  • Clear phone presence and the ability to explain a technical issue to a non-technical person without condescension
  • Ability to hold several open tickets at once and prioritize sensibly
  • Written communication strong enough that another technician can pick up the ticket and know exactly where things stand
  • One or more years in a help desk, desktop support, retail technology, or comparable customer-facing technical role, or equivalent coursework with demonstrated hands-on ability
  • Working knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 in a domain environment
  • Familiarity with Active Directory user/group administration and Microsoft 365 from an end-user and basic admin perspective

Nice to Haves:
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft fundamentals certification
  • Prior MSP or multi-client environment experience
  • Exposure to PSA/RMM tooling such as ConnectWise Manage, ConnectWise Automate, or NinjaOne
  • Basic networking troubleshooting: DHCP, DNS, VPN clients, wireless connectivity
  • Familiarity with macOS in a managed environment
  • Prior experience in a healthcare or mental health environment (a plus, not required)
