A HEDIS Medical Record Reviewer is a healthcare professional who evaluates patient medical records to collect and verify data for the Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) measures. These measures are used by health plans to assess the quality of care and services provided to their members. Reviewers ensure the information is accurate and complete, often working with healthcare providers and insurance companies during the annual HEDIS reporting season. Their work supports quality improvement and compliance with regulatory requirements.
