Job description

We are hiring for our 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm shift at Son Heaven Assisted Living, specially looking for weekend help. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available. Apply if you are a caring, kind individual who has a passion for helping others.

Job Duties:

  • To care for residents in an Assisted Living environment while helping to maintain the resident’s quality of life with dignity and respect.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living
  • Maintain resident documentation as needed
  •  Obtain residents vitals as directed
  • Prepare and serve meals as needed
  • Distribute resident medications for their self-administration
  • Restock supplies
  • Clean resident rooms and common areas as scheduled
  • Provide laundry services to residents
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Skills Needed:

  • Strong compassionate and caring attitude
  • Willing to work as an active team member
  • Ability to maintain and display a positive attitude
  • Ability to multitask

Educational Requirement: High school education or equivalent preferred but not required. Previous direct care experience desired, but will train the right candidate.

Physical Demands: Walking and standing for greater than 70% of shift. Must be able to frequently sit, stand, bend, and stoop. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs.
