Job description

Job Description 

UNC Health Blue Ridge is seeking a Day Shift Hospitalist APP at our UNC Health Blue Ridge Main Hospital in Morganton, NC.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • On Average 15 Shifts a month

QUALIFICATIONS

Education Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited graduate –level Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) program.
  • Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant) in the state of North Carolina or eligible.
  • Board certification if required by the Department

Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:

  • 2+ years of inpatient experience
  • Feel comfortable with admits
  • Demonstrates clinical competency
  • Preventive Care
  • Management of Acute and Chronic health issues
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Demonstrates written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills.
  •  Effective interaction and care of patients
  • Documentation of medical records for accurate billing
