JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Software Test Support and Execution: Under the guidance of senior engineers, you will assist in planning, executing, and reporting software testing activities in accordance with medical device standards including IEC 62304, ISO 13485, and ISO 14971.
  • Team Collaboration: You will work alongside software testing engineers, system testing engineers, software development groups, and hardware development groups, supporting cross-functional testingefforts and learning from experienced team members.
  • Quality Assurance Documentation: You will assist in the preparation and review of medical software quality assurance documents, ensuring deliverables are completed on time for each development stage checkpoint.
  • Defect Tracking and Reporting: You will support the creation and updating of defect reports, participate in defect review board (DRB) meetings, and contribute to accurate status reporting under the direction of senior staff.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
  • BsC, MsC or PhD in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, software testing, or a related field (internship experience welcomed).
  • Basic understanding of software QA concepts, testing methodologies, and software development life cycles
  • Familiarity with medical device standards (IEC 62304, ISO 13485, ISO 14971) is a plus but not required - willingness to learn is essential.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, written communication, and organizational skills.
  • Exposure to manual test case writing or test automation tools is a plus.
