Job description

About the Role:
Soul Care Home Health Inc is looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our dedicated team in Agoura Hills, CA. This is a great opportunity to play a vital behind-the-scenes role in supporting quality home health care services. Responsibilities:
  • Enter and update patient and operational data accurately into company systems and databases
  • Review and verify source documents for completeness and accuracy before data entry
  • Maintain organized digital and physical records in compliance with healthcare privacy standards (HIPAA)
  • Identify and correct data discrepancies or errors in a timely manner
  • Generate and distribute routine data reports as requested by management
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure data integrity
  • Perform general clerical duties including filing, scanning, and document management
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or relevant coursework a plus 
  • Data entry experience with strong typing speed and accuracy a plus 
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Google Docs, Google sheets) 
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) or medical office software preferred
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
