Point of Care Team Summary
The Point of Care team is responsible for development and ownership of the Point of
care strategy and activation.
Position Summary
The Vice President, Point of Care, leads the Point of Care team's Point of Care marketplace efforts by providing functional management and leadership to a team of Point of Care Directors, Associate Directors & Supervisor. Responsible for cross-functional leadership, team growth and development, new business, organic business growth, development of new POC solutions, POC marketplace landscape and can be adaptable to the ever-changing needs of the marketplace.
The goal for this role is to lead Publicis and client Point of Care marketplace initiatives, help develop and maintain PHM Point of Care partnerships, ensuring all Groupe health & wellness clients have access to best-in-class custom healthcare offering for the Point of Care channel.
Key Responsibilities
Knowledge
  • Expert understanding of how the agency works and how jobs flow throughout
  • Expert understanding of client's business and goals
  • Expert understanding of how client business objectives translate into Point of Care marketplace strategies
  • Expert understanding of the overall Point of Care marketplace and partner landscape
  • Expert understanding of Point of Care partnership opportunities, deals and terms
  • Expert understanding of agency Terms + Conditions and Point of Care partner contracting process

Day-to-Day
  • Guide strategic approach for Point of Care Marketplace channel
  • Provide important and timely updates on Point of Care Marketplace channel landscape
  • Continue to create process and educational information to advance the Point of Care Marketplace channel
  • Work closely with Partnership team to develop relevant and meaningful partnerships with core partners and publishers, provide value-based offerings, and streamline terms
  • Overseeing the development of the team through establishment of overarching goals and reoccurring scaled communications
  • Accountable for Point of Care channel investment strategy across all clients
  • Escalation point for internal and external teams including cross-functional Publicis teams, clients, and Point of Care media partners
  • Ensures best practices in Point of Care process, efficiencies, etc.. are implemented and operational
  • Create benchmarks, proof points, and above client learnings
  • Accountable for ongoing Marketplace intelligence + POVs
  • Accountable for POC marketplace 101s and education days
  • Drives POVs on new investment offerings, processes and technologies
  • Responsible for assignment and execution of ad hoc projects

Internal + External Relationships
  • Accountable for developing talent, delegating appropriately, and ensuring teams are working smoothly
  • Accountable for Point of Care team staffing and scoping
  • Provides clear, regular communication regarding client and project goals, prioritization and measures of success to all key stakeholders
  • Fosters a positive work environment
  • Provides expertise and shares knowledge with junior team members
  • Delivers constructive, actionable feedback to team
  • Continues to develop working relationships with senior client contacts as necessary
  • Strong relationships with Point of Care media partners and point of escalation for partners and Point of Care team
  • Collaborates internally with leadership across capabilities and teams
  • Determine integration and differentiation across marketplace channel with marketplace channel leads
  • Strong relationships with key Groupe teams, PMX, APEX
  • Contributes to new business efforts as needed
  • Elevate position of and represent PHM in marketplace as a key Point of Care expert
  • Lead the industry by participating in thought leadership including industry events and press exposure

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Exhibits professionalism, integrity, self-awareness, and an attitude of continuous improvement
  • Ability to multi-task, manage one's time, and demonstrate personal organization to meet deadlines
  • Proven ability to lead people and projects
  • Able to deal with ambiguous and challenging situations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Power-user of business IT software: MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Literacy of business intelligence software such as SQL, MicroStrategy, Datorama, etc. and an understanding of data manipulation
  • Adherence to agency procedures (on-time and accurate time sheets, performance conversations)
  • 12+ years of industry experience, preferably within media planning and/or buying for Point of Care, Out of Home, or HCP
  • Pharmaceutical industry a plus
