Job Description We are seeking a Senior IT Project Manager (Clinical Digital Imaging) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in leading complex enterprise healthcare IT initiatives, clinical imaging, interoperability, and cross-functional delivery and a proven ability to deliver multi-year, enterprise-scale outcomes on time, on budget, and in alignment with governance. Responsibilities: Lead projects of very large size or high complexity, including multiple concurrent initiatives. Manage budgets up to $5M, including forecasting, vendor oversight, and adherence to institutional guidelines. Own scope, schedule, risks, issues, dependencies, and change control across workstreams. Lead enterprise-wide clinical imaging initiatives from planning through implementation. Partner with clinical leaders, operations, IT teams, and executive stakeholders to align objectives and deliver value. Coordinate efforts across the Clinical Practice Management domain and related program teams. Support initiatives for image capture, storage, retrieval, interoperability, and workflow optimization. Facilitate clear communication between business, clinical, and technical teams to ensure shared understanding of objectives and deliverables. Provide governance, stage-gate readiness, executive status reporting, and stakeholder updates. Engage institutional committees and oversight bodies to progress approvals and cross-boundary execution. Drive adoption of project management standards and a Project Focused Culture within IT. Perform additional job-related functions as assigned. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years managing IT projects of varied complexity, with demonstrated competency in PMI Process Groups and Knowledge Areas. OR Master's Degree and 7+ years managing IT and/or Healthcare projects with PMI competency. Current PMP certification or comparable certification from a nationally recognized body, or ability to obtain within 3 years of hire. 7+ years of IT Project Management leading complex enterprise initiatives with governance alignment. Healthcare IT experience within a large, integrated, or academic medical environment. Experience with clinical imaging, interoperability, and related technologies. Knowledge of DICOM standards and digital imaging workflows; experience with HL7 messaging and healthcare data exchange. Proficiency in stakeholder management, risk management, budgeting, and cross-functional leadership. Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with executive presence. Preferred Skills: Experience with Epic integrations, interfaces, and interoperability. Background in healthcare analytics, reporting, or data-driven decision-making. Support experience in radiology or imaging services, including image capture and management. Experience with enterprise imaging platforms and clinical image repositories. Experience leading large-scale digital transformation or clinical technology modernization initiatives. Familiarity with enterprise architecture, healthcare integrations, and interoperability frameworks. Previous Clinic experience and/or residence within driving distance of Rochester, MN.
