We have an immediate opening for a client in the Humble area. Caregiver must have a heart and passion in caring for seniors. The family would also like assistance with household tasks like laundry, light house cleaning, errands, appointments, meal prep, bathing, cooking, and some companion care.

We are interested in experienced caregivers who are dedicated and compassionate about giving care services to individuals with disabilities, injuries, difficulties with mobility, or illnesses.

Salary: $12-15/ hour

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing, and eating
  • Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, grocery shopping, etc.)
  • Assist with personal care and hygiene
  • Plan and prepare meals
  • Perform housekeeping duties
  • Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
  • Provide activities crucial for daily living by aiding patients with their meals, which includes serving.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in healthcare, hospitality, or home care
  • High School Diploma/Equivalent or Experience as a Caregiver (CNA preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every single day
  • Enjoy giving clients the above and beyond "wow" factor
  • Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
  • Pleasant and customer-friendly, self-starter, organized, and able to manage tasks efficiently on your own
  • Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
  • Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
  • Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
  • Willingness to enforce health and safety standards
