Role Responsibilities

  • Purify and manage extensive, intricate datasets utilizing tools like SQL and Python.
  • Transfer client data into Our Client's platform in accordance with defined service level agreements (SLA).
  • Implement comprehensive data quality assurance practices throughout the ETL process.
  • Engineer, refine, and sustain scalable data pipelines to facilitate healthcare data analysis.
  • Collaborate with data analysts to comprehend their requirements and devise solutions to address those needs.
  • Enhance the efficiency of data pipelines and systems.
  • Work in partnership with various teams to amalgamate data from diverse sources.

Requirements

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
  • Over 2 years of experience in Data Engineering.
  • Proven expertise in designing, constructing, and managing ETL infrastructure within a live environment.
  • Proficiency in handling large, complex datasets.
  • In-depth understanding of SQL and proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Ruby, etc.).
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and the creation of reusable, adaptable code.
  • A strong drive, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.

Nice to Haves

  • Background in Healthcare, Finance, or other regulated sectors.
  • Experience with workflow management tools like Airflow.
  • Knowledge in machine learning and/or business intelligence.
  • Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
