This role will lead and deliver finance transformation initiatives for clients across multiple industries, with a focus on shared services, close optimization, and core accounting processes. The ideal candidate brings strong consulting experience, deep finance expertise, and a passion for improving how finance organizations operate.# **JOB DESCRIPTION****Key Responsibilities*** Lead finance transformation engagements from strategy through execution* Assess current-state finance and accounting operations and identify improvement opportunities* Design and implement shared services models and operating structures* Drive month-end close optimization initiatives, including process redesign and automation* Improve core accounting processes, controls, and reporting capabilities* Partner with client stakeholders (CFOs, Controllers, Finance Leaders) to align transformation initiatives with business goals* Manage project teams, timelines, and deliverables to ensure high-quality client outcomes* Support business development efforts, including proposals and client presentations* Mentor and develop junior team members**Qualifications*** Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)* 5–10+ years (Manager) or 10–15+ years (Senior Manager) of relevant experience* Prior consulting experience strongly preferred* Deep expertise in: + Finance and Accounting Operations + Shared services design and implementation + Month-end close and record-to-report processes* Strong understanding of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar a plus)* Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.)* Proven ability to lead teams and manage client relationships* Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills**What Sets You Apart*** Ability to translate strategy into actionable execution* Strong business acumen with a focus on delivering measurable value* A collaborative mindset aligned with an “everyone sells” culture* Passion for mentoring others and contributing to firm growth**Why UHY Consulting*** Opportunity to lead high-impact transformation initiatives* Collaborative, entrepreneurial culture* Clear path for career growth and leadership* Exposure to diverse clients and industries* Ability to shape and grow a key service offering**Other duties*** Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the colleague for this job.
