• Assist the medical doctor in conducting patient evaluations and physical assessments, helping to gather crucial medical history and patient information.
• Play a significant role in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans in coordination with the medical doctor.
• Conduct basic medical procedures, including taking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, as well as administering injections under supervision.
• Maintain comprehensive patient records and ensure the accurate updating of electronic health charts to reflect current patient conditions.
• Communicate effectively with patients, providing clear instructions and empathetic responses to any questions or concerns they may have regarding their health or treatment.
• Monitor patient progress closely, reporting any significant changes or emerging concerns to the medical doctor timely.
• Assist in managing the daily operations of the clinic, ensuring an efficient patient flow and addressing administrative tasks necessary for a smooth clinic operation.
• Uphold cleanliness and organization in the clinic’s operational areas to create a comforting and welcoming environment for patients and their families.

Our Community Health Clinic serves a diverse patient population, including families, seniors, and individuals with various healthcare needs. You will encounter different medical cases, from routine physicals to more complex health concerns, allowing you to apply your skills in a meaningful way. • A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is required, providing a foundational understanding of healthcare principles.
• Completion of a medical assistant training program or equivalent practical experience working in a medical setting.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, basic medical procedures, and patient safety protocols.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, showcasing a friendly and compassionate approach to patient interaction.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a diverse team, showing mutual respect and support for colleagues.

While we will consider all applications, candidates with previous experience in a medical assistant role or a related healthcare position are preferred. Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic clinical skills will be advantageous.
