Job description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Designs and implements innovative health education and wellness programs tailored to student needs
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of wellness programs and adjusts based on feedback and outcomes
  • Collaborates with campus departments and community partners to enhance program delivery and reach
  • Acts as a key resource for students and staff on health and wellness topics
  • Builds and maintains relationships with local organizations to support and fund wellness initiatives
  • Secures external funding through grants and partnerships to sustain and expand wellness programs
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Knowledge of health education theories and wellness program design
  • Knowledge of advancing wellness education and mental health support for students
  • Skill in program implementation and evaluation in a wellness or educational setting
  • Skill in resource development and external funding acquisition
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse partners and stakeholders
  • Ability to foster relationships and build networks

Minimum Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in related field

What You'll Do:
  • Oversee the Wellness Peer Educator program, including recruitment, hiring, training, and ongoing supervision
  • Collaborate with the Health Promotion team to design and implement innovative, data-informed initiatives responsive to student needs
  • Analyze campus health and wellness data to guide program development and continuous improvement
  • Build and maintain partnerships with on- and off-campus resources to expand health promotion efforts
