Job Description:

The Promotions Coordinator is a front‑line, hands‑on role focused on creating memorable experiences for our guests during our promotional events. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being on their feet, interacting with people, and working in an energetic, fast‑paced environment.

From Gift Giveaways, Tournaments, Free Play Drawings and exclusive SVIP shopping experiences, the Promotions Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring events run smoothly, guests feel welcomed, and every interaction reflects outstanding customer service. While this role includes some basic reporting, the majority of the work is in‑person, guest‑facing, and event‑driven.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 6 months customer service experience, most preferably in a casino or hospitality environment.
  • Must possess exceptional guest service skills.
  • Must have good verbal communication skills.
  • Must have good phone etiquette.
  • Must have basic computer skills.
  • Must be able to work standing/walking for long periods of time, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must conduct themselves in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures.
  • Must be team-oriented and must enjoy working with and assisting people.
  • Ability to read and understand all Seminole Tribe of Florida policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
  • Must be able to complete standard Seminole Tribe of Florida forms and reports.
  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an incumbent to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
  • This position requires frequent standing, walking, sometimes stooping, bending and lifting up to a maximum of 40 lbs.
  • Comfortable performing physical tasks, including lifting and prepping heavy boxes
  • High level of self-direction, self-motivation, and energy

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Stay hands‑on during giveaways by prepping boxes and keeping gift distribution flowing smoothly
  • Check in guests for gift giveaways, drawings, tournaments, and SVIP shopping experiences
  • Provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service in a face‑to‑face environment
  • Organize and maintain giveaway areas to ensure they are clean, orderly, and guest ready
  • Assist with keeping the promotions office and storage areas organized
  • Review and provide Promo FYIs to keep team members informed on event details, procedures, and updates
  • Request (REQ OUT) and return (REQ IN) gifts accurately and on time
  • Communicate important information to guests clearly and accurately
  • Ensure proper tracking and handling of all promotional items
  • Complete shift reports with important event details, guest counts, and notes
  • Document giveaway activity, issues, or guest feedback during events

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke and excessive noise.
  • The casino is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.  You may be required to work on any of the days the casino is open including weekends and holidays.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

  • The Casino environment is dynamic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.
  • Frequent lifting/carrying of weights over 25 pounds, reaching, stooping, squatting and bending.
