We are seeking dedicated Mental Health Professionals to join our correctional healthcare team. This role is ideal for Masterโ€™s-level clinicians, including non-licensed professionals, who want to provide counseling, crisis intervention, and psychosocial assessments while gaining high-level experience.
Position Details:
  • Setting: Correctional Mental Health.
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks (option to extend).
  • Provide consultations for individuals with mental health or substance use challenges.
  • Conduct psychosocial assessments and preliminary diagnostic impressions.
  • Deliver counseling, crisis intervention, and case management services.
  • Collaborate with medical and behavioral health teams.
Requirements:
  • Masterโ€™s degree in behavioral health, counseling, social work, psychology, or related field.
  • Experience or interest in mental health and/or substance use populations.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • No SD license required.
