This is a hands‑on, player‑coach leadership role responsible not only for sales performance, but also for helping design and stabilize early processes related to compliance, quality, training, workflows, and agent ramp‑up. The ideal candidate is an operationally strong ACA leader who thrives in build‑mode environments.

  • Help define and reinforce call flow, scripting adherence, documentation standards, and compliance habits from day one.
  • Identify gaps in training, tools, or processes and provide recommendations to improve early‑stage execution.
  • Act as a stabilizing leader during the initial ramp‑up period, especially leading into Open Enrollment Period (OEP).
Player‑Coach Sales Supervision
  • Supervise and coach a launch team of 4 ACA Health Insurance Sales Agents, with responsibility to scale as the team grows.
  • Serve as a player‑coach, including handling live inbound/outbound calls as needed during ramp‑up, peak periods, or coverage gaps.
  • Set and track daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals aligned to company objectives.
  • Monitor real‑time call activity, conversion rates, productivity, and attendance.
Compliance & Quality Oversight
  • Ensure strict adherence to CMS, ACA, state, and carrier sales and marketing regulations.
  • Conduct live and recorded call reviews to reinforce disclosures, compliance, and quality standards.
  • Partner with Compliance and QA teams on feedback loops, corrective actions, and audit readiness.
  • Address compliance issues immediately to prevent risk during early operations.
Coaching, Development & Accountability
  • Assist agents with needs assessments, objection handling, and compliant cross‑selling of ancillary products.
  • Manage early‑stage performance issues directly through coaching plans and corrective action when required.Establish a strong culture of accountability, professionalism, and ethical selling.
Hiring, Onboarding & Scalability
  • Support interviewing, onboarding, and licensing verification for new ACA agents.
  • Help ensure new hires are system‑ready, compliant, and production‑capable.
  • Assist in building repeatable onboarding and ramp processes as the team expands.
  • Provide input on staffing needs for OEP and Special Enrollment Periods (SEPs).
Operations & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Ensure accurate CRM usage and documentation across all agent activity.
  • Work closely with Operations, Training, QA, Compliance, and IT teams to resolve issues quickly.
  • Surface operational risks, process bottlenecks, or system challenges with proposed solutions.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Active Florida 2‑15 or 2‑40 Health Insurance License (required).
  • 3+ years of ACA Health Insurance telesales experience.
  • 1–2+ years in a team lead, supervisor, or player‑coach role.
  • Strong working knowledge of ACA plans, subsidies, OEP/SEP rules, and CMS compliance.
  • Proven ability to balance sales performance with compliance and quality.
  • Comfortable operating in build‑out or early‑stage environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience helping launch or ramp a new ACA telesales team.
  • Experience leading teams during Open Enrollment Period (OEP).
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) strongly preferred.
  • Experience working closely with QA and Compliance teams.
  • Structured schedules with extended hours during OEP.
  • Miami‑based office.
