We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Full-Time Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join Wellbe Health Care Inc. This role requires a skilled professional who can deliver mindfulness-based therapeutic interventions to support clients in their mental health journey. You will have the opportunity to work remotely while facilitating the well-being of individuals in Georgia.

Work Environment

As a remote mental health counselor at Wellbe, you will have the flexibility to work from home while interacting with clients through virtual sessions. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough initial assessments to understand clients' mental health challenges, stressors, and therapeutic goals, utilizing structured questionnaires and interviews.
  • Implement mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to assist clients in managing anxiety, enhancing emotional regulation, and promoting overall well-being.
  • Facilitate individual therapy sessions, employing mindfulness exercises, guided meditations, and breathing techniques tailored to each client's unique needs.
  • Lead engaging group workshops on mindfulness practices, stress reduction techniques, and resilience-building strategies, enhancing community support among participants.
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation of treatment plans, interventions, and client progress in our electronic health records system to ensure continuity of care.
  • Regularly collaborate with fellow therapists and healthcare professionals to integrate mindfulness into a holistic treatment approach that promotes overall mental health.
  • Actively participate in professional development, including workshops and training sessions focused on mindfulness practices, to enhance therapeutic skills.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse clientele that includes individuals experiencing anxiety, stress-related disorders, depression, and interpersonal challenges. Our clients seek an empathetic and supportive therapeutic relationship to assist them in navigating their mental health journeys. By integrating mindfulness techniques, you will empower clients to cultivate emotional balance and develop effective coping strategies.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in mindfulness practices and integrating mindfulness into therapy sessions.
  • Effective communication skills to foster a safe and supportive therapeutic environment for clients.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of mental health and mindfulness-based approaches.
Preferred Experience
