Required:
- Education: Associate degree in Science of Medical Record Administration through an AHIMA accredited program.
- Experience: Three years management experience for an HIM department in an acute care setting.
- Certification/License: RHIA or RHIT credentialed in good standing with the American Health Information Management Association [AHIMA].
- Supervised daily Health Information Management (HIM) department operations, ensuring efficient workflow and compliance with organizational standards.
- Maintained the quality, accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity of patient health information and medical records.
- Designed and optimized departmental workflows to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.
- Resolved HIM-related operational issues and implemented solutions to support continuous departmental performance.
- Led and managed HIM staff through scheduling, training, performance oversight, and day-to-day personnel support while assisting the HIM Director in achieving departmental objectives.
- Performs related duties as required.
