We are seeking a Human Resources Manager to serve as the strategic HR partner for our hospital. In this highly visible role, you will collaborate closely with hospital leadership and Corporate Human Resources to support our employees, strengthen engagement, ensure compliance, and help create an environment where both caregivers and patients can thrive.

As the Human Resources Manager, you will lead all aspects of the hospital's HR function, from talent acquisition and employee relations to benefits administration, workforce planning, and organizational development. What You'll DoStrategic HR Partnership & Employee Relations
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees on employee relations, performance management, workplace concerns, leave administration, organizational change, and policy interpretation.
  • Partner with Corporate HR subject matter experts to resolve complex employee matters and implement best practices.
  • Support organizational effectiveness by contributing to workforce planning, talent strategies, and organizational initiatives.
  • Coach managers on leadership practices, employee development, and difficult conversations.
Talent Acquisition & Employee Experience
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts to attract, hire, and retain top talent.
  • Manage onboarding activities and facilitate New Employee Orientation to ensure a positive employee experience from day one.
  • Champion initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture.
Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Administer employee leave programs, workers' compensation claims, unemployment claims, and related HR programs.
  • Maintain employee and contract labor records in accordance with regulatory and corporate requirements.
  • Support a safe and healthy workplace by promoting safety, infection control, and compliance standards.
Compensation, Benefits & Payroll
  • Administer employee benefits, performance management, and compensation programs.
  • Review and prepare bi-weekly payroll information for corporate processing.
  • Recommend improvements to HR policies, procedures, and programs that enhance efficiency and employee satisfaction.
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive Human Resources generalist experience.
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations, performance management, employment law, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, maintain confidentiality, and build trust across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Two or more years of HR leadership or management experience.
  • Healthcare or hospital HR experience.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
