Responsibilities

PJT Park Hill's Private Equity Group offers analysts the chance to engage directly in advising "best in class" private equity firms on all aspects of the capital raise - including advisory work, market positioning and ultimately raising capital from the top institutional investors across the globe.

The private placement process uniquely develops both the quantitative and qualitative skills required at more advanced levels across the financial spectrum.

Our Private Equity team is seeking a Project Management Analyst with strong analytical and writing skills, who takes initiative, has great attention to detail, works well under pressure, and has the ability to work well both independently and within teams in a boutique investment advisory firm. Each fundraising deal is typically run by a two-person deal team - a Senior Project Manager and an Analyst.

Candidates for the position must possess knowledge of and interest in the alternative asset industry-specifically private equity. The job requires management of multiple projects often under time constraints/deadlines, interaction and constant communication with clients, and great attention to detail.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Support the deal team in all aspects of the fundraising process;

  • Work directly with clients in drafting offering memorandums and marketing materials,

  • Coordinate roadshow scheduling and logistics;

  • Prepare for and coordinate all due diligence meetings and materials; complete LP due diligence questionnaires;

  • Assist the Partners in various research projects and the sourcing, diligence and origination of new mandates;

  • Manage and maintain external PJT Park Hill materials, including marketing/pitch materials, fund offering booklets and executive presentations for the senior Partners.

Qualifications

PJT Partners seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. In addition, qualified candidates will possess the following:

  • 1-2 years prior experience in private placements, investment banking, alternative asset investor relations or similar fields;

  • Bachelor Degree required with Accounting, Finance, or Economics major preferred

  • Strong, detail-oriented analytical skills;

  • Knowledge of financial modeling and leveraged buyout analysis;

  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment and to handle multiple projects at a time

  • A self-starter with the ability to work effectively as part of a team

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Strong work ethic and results-oriented mentality;

  • Personal and professional integrity;

  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Expected annualized base salary of $120,000 to $130,000.

This range represents the low and high ends of the expected annualized base salary for this position. The specific base salary received by any employee will be informed by a number of factors, including but not limited to, role level and scope, location, candidate's relevant qualifications, skills and experience.

Base salary is one component of PJT Partners' compensation structure. In addition to base salary, PJT Partners' compensation structure may include additional rewards, incentives and benefits, including but not limited to, a discretionary bonus component.
