Job Summary
Works cross-functionally with the Pharmacy in identifying and evaluating data monetization opportunities, specific to Pharma and Health System solutions. Objectives are defined in collaboration with senior management and results can be assessed in both a short- and long-term perspectives. Manages the operational data functions of the Pharmacy, Pharma and Health Systems.
Job Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional individuals and teams both external and internal across WBA including but not limited to Pharmacy, Retail, FOS to enhance current Data monetization Products, and growth, goals, processes, and support several department initiatives.
  • Establish continuous improvement of data governance and management processes across the enterprise collaborating with different line of businesses to strengthen Data Monetization products Provides Retail Strategy team contract administration processes and analytics to ensure implementation and management of the business terms to include core analytics related to pharmaceutical manufacturer's service agreements.
  • Support business relationship with existing and new Data product/services clients by acting as a Data SME and collaborating with various internal teams including IT.
  • Participate in and/or contribute to regulatory or contractual audits with data analysis as a SME.
  • Participate in RFP responses and Statements of Work (SOW) for new contracts as a SME.
  • Works in a matrix environment to provide shared accountability to for pharmaceutical manufacturer relationships with Purchasing, National Account Management, and Specialty PharmacyPharma, Payer, and Health systems Partners on Data monetization and related contractual needs.
  • Manages channel segment business and profitability effectively.
  • Develops and maintains strong business relationships while communicating Walgreens needs regarding pharmaceuticals, trade, specialty, program/product development, account management, and clinical services.
  • Accountable for a cross functional leadership role across Walgreens to create line of sight and synergies to include but not limited to Pharmacy Services, Store Operations, and Specialty.
  • Supports new business development by providing program design and process details to create proposals for new services as well as reporting/analytical capabilities. Coordinates and controls activities, plans, and programs in area of responsibility.
  • Advise on various Data Monetization projects and initiatives (current or future) to ensure that any data related changes and dependencies are identified, communicated, documented, and managed to ensure adherence with the contractual needs and Enterprise Data Governance established standards.
  • Coaches, mentors and develops employees through orientation, training, and performance management programs to build employee morale, motivation and loyalty.
  • Lead Delivery and support of the existing and new Analytics products including but not limited to Inroads in collaboration with external vendors to provide data and insights to Pharma, Payer, Health System partners.
  • Define and partner closely with IT team to develop and monitor metrics that impacts current contractual Data delivery services and analytics products.
  • Operates within company guidelines with respect to policies, programs, procedures, budgets, and applicable laws. Ensures the development and implementation of approved manufacturer partners services are consistent with overall strategy.

External Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years' experience in implementation of programs of financial or operational significance in a manufacturer or healthcare services environment.
  • At least five (5) years of experience with the design, documentation, and implementation of service programs of financial or operational significance.
  • Experience collaborating with both internal and external resources to develop strategies that meet department and company goals within budget and established timelines.
  • Experience in identifying service/operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
  • Experience with project management (for example: planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives).
  • Experience in program administration and analytics of manufacturer programs for Specialty Pharmacy services.
  • At least 2 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace.
  • At least 3 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership and/or cross-functional team leadership.
  • Willing to travel up to/at least 20% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Preferred Qualifications
  • Extensive experience working in Pharma and Health Systems.
