What does a health data analyst do?

A health data analyst creates data reports that guide healthcare providers or organizations. The data comes from various systems or sources, like treatment or billing records. These statistical reports can be used to assess disease trends, over or underutilization of treatment, and cost of healthcare. Medical services and insurance providers can use this information to make decisions about future costs and coverage, while organizations such as the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) use it to assess public health.
