Position: Club Manager
Reports to: Regional Manager
Employee Type: Full Time
We are looking for someone who is passionate about fitness, possesses strong leadership skills, and is a highly skilled and competent salesperson. Our ideal candidate understands and loves sales - including generating prospects, following a detailed process in the club to convert prospects, and creating raving fans and referrals by helping our new members actually get fitness results once they join.
Our Club Manager leads the sales team and also works hand in hand with our Personal Training Manager and our Operations Manager (along with a variety of other leaders and team members) to ensure our members get results and feel important every step of the way. This person must also be comfortable leading team members across a variety of ages, lifestyles, and personalities as our various departments are comprised of a robust group of individual team members. We believe the leader sets the pace, and we expect our Club Manager to be willing to do whatever it takes to succeed, hit goals, help our team feel supported and successful, and make sure our members remain our top priority.
This particular opportunity requires skill and expertise in sales, and a willingness and ability to go into the community and recruit new members to take charge of their health by signing up for memberships at Genesis Health Clubs! Industry experience preferred, specifically in Health Club Sales.

Expectations:
  • Present a professional demeanor at all times when representing the Genesis Health Clubs

  • Develop and build a team atmosphere among staff and departments

Job Requirements:
  • Available to work weekends and evenings and holidays
  • Must hold current CPR certification or obtain within 60 days of start date
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Experience in cash handling and credit cards
  • Customer service abilities

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
  • Ability to communicate with guests and other associates, including reading, writing and speaking

Compensation: $55,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
