THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a high-energy, strategic, and execution-oriented Director of Channels - Central to lead our channel and partner development efforts across the Western U.S. You will play a pivotal role in building and managing our ecosystem of resellers, system integrators, MSPs/MSSPs, and strategic alliances. Your work will directly impact revenue growth and market expansion as we scale our go-to-market engine.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Channel Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute a comprehensive regional channel strategy aligned with overall company goals.
  • Partner Recruitment: Identify, recruit, and onboard high-potential channel partners across the Western U.S.
  • Enablement & Training: Provide partners with the tools, knowledge, and support needed to successfully position and sell our solutions.
  • Joint Go-to-Market Plans: Collaborate with partners to build and drive pipeline through joint marketing campaigns, events, and account mapping.
  • Sales Support: Act as a trusted advisor in partner-led deals, supporting sales cycles alongside partners as needed.
  • Performance Management: Set performance metrics and manage quarterly business reviews (QBRs) to evaluate partner effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, product, and customer success to ensure channel success.
  • Market Feedback: Provide ongoing insight from the field to inform product development and positioning.

Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 7-10+ years of experience in channel sales, business development, or alliances within cybersecurity, SaaS, or enterprise technology.
  • Proven success building and scaling a channel program, ideally in a startup or high-growth environment.
  • Strong relationships with VARs, MSSPs, and other key players in the Western U.S. territory.
  • Deep understanding of the data security or cybersecurity market.
  • Strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and a builder mindset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

COMPENSATION INFORMATION:
Compensation Range: $200,000-$350,000.
The range represents total compensation, and may include incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
This compensation range represents Cyera's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of posting, and Cyera may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. The final salary for this position will be determined in Cyera's sole discretion, consistent with applicable law, and based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the employee's work experience, skills, and qualifications for the role, as well as the needs of Cyera's business and other operational considerations.
Final compensation will vary based on seniority and relevance of experience, location, and position requirements.
This role may be eligible for potential merit increases based on factors such as individual or company performance, time in role, and other discretionary factors.
