Our Chapters Living community is seeking a Director of Life Enrichment and Memory Support with a positive and upbeat attitude to cultivate a cheerful and uplifting atmosphere within the community. As the Director, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents and ensuring exceptional memory support for residents with Alzheimer's disease or other dementia. This leadership position involves designing and implementing engaging activities, fostering a supportive and enriching environment for our memory support program. Your efforts will contribute to promoting physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being, making a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents and their families.
Description:
  • Develop innovative life enrichment programs tailored to the varying needs and interests of our residents, focusing on promoting purpose and personal growth.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments, such as nursing, dietary, and administration, to create an integrated approach to resident care that aligns with the community's philosophy and values.
  • Organize and execute a diverse range of events, activities, and outings, including social gatherings, educational sessions, fitness classes, and cultural experiences, to promote socialization and engagement among residents.
  • Maintain open communication with residents' families, providing updates on their loved ones' well-being and seeking feedback to enhance the care and services provided.
  • Conduct regular assessments of residents' needs and preferences, and modify and adapt programs, ensuring the highest quality of care.
  • Provide training and support to staff and volunteers to ensure that they are equipped to provide quality care and support to our residents.?
  • Create and maintain records of all activities and ensure that they are properly documented.?
