Position Summary
Central Michigan University, an FBS member of the Mid-American Conference is seeking applicants for Assistant Softball Coach. Position is a full-time, 12 month appointment with full benefit package. Salary is commensurate with experience.
This position will be responsible for coordinating the training, identification and recruitment of athletically and academically talented student-athletes, foster a positive and competitive environment, assist with administration and organization of tournaments, games, practice, management of equipment, fundraising and community involvement, and other duties designated by the Head Coach. The Assistant Coach is also responsible for maintaining compliance with NCAA, MAC, and CMU rules & regulations.
Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• Collegiate softball pitching and/or coaching experience.
• Knowledge of and commitment to following NCAA rules and regulations.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree.
• Three years of collegiate softball pitching coaching experience.
• Division I softball coaching and recruiting experience.
