Job description

As Head of Mortgage Growth & Operations, you will lead the creation and scaling of brand's mortgage marketplace business. Reporting to senior leadership, you will own the end-to-end development of a new VA loan lead generation platform, working cross-functionally with engineering, business development, and executive stakeholders to build a scalable and profitable business from the ground up.
This role requires a highly analytical and entrepreneurial operator who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys building new ventures, and can combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You will be responsible for developing the marketplace infrastructure, establishing lender partnerships, optimizing unit economics, and driving long-term revenue growth.
Responsibilities

  • Own the development and growth of Military.com’s mortgage lead generation marketplace.
  • Partner with engineering to build and optimize the platform’s infrastructure and user experience.
  • Analyze audience, performance, and market data to identify growth opportunities and maximize revenue.
  • Define product requirements, operational workflows, and growth strategies to ensure successful execution.
  • Develop business cases, financial models, and revenue forecasts to support strategic decisions.
  • Build and manage relationships with mortgage lenders and financial partners.
  • Expand the lender network and diversify revenue sources.
  • Track marketplace performance and continuously improve lead quality, conversion rates, and profitability.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities.
