The Gist
As a Head Mechanic at FatCats, you will take the lead in maintaining and repairing our bowling and scoring equipment to ensure that every guest has an exceptional experience. From routine maintenance to troubleshooting, your expertise will be instrumental in keeping our lanes in top condition. Working closely with the Facility Maintenance Manager, you'll also manage repair schedules and guide mechanical team members while ensuring safety protocols are always followed.

When issues arise, you'll quickly diagnose and repair equipment, communicating effectively with guests to ensure minimal disruption to their experience. You'll also maintain clean workspaces, manage parts inventory, and work closely with the Facility Maintenance Manager on special projects and team development.
Requirements
Job Requirements
Perform maintenance and repairs on bowling and scoring equipment, including pinsetters and lanes, while ensuring safety protocols are always followed.
Troubleshoot equipment issues promptly, communicate effectively with guests, and minimize disruptions to their experience.
Maintain clean and organized workspaces, manage parts inventory, and keep accurate logs for maintenance and repairs.
Exhibit strong leadership and organizational skills to mentor team members and coordinate schedules.
Demonstrate excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities in a fast-paced environment.
Be computer literate and quick to learn new software, with the ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
The Schedule
FatCats is busiest when other people are off work and having fun. As a Head Mechanic you will need to have an open availability to work opening, mid, and closing shifts, including weekends and holidays.
