The Head of Communications, B2B will define, build and lead the global communications function for Booking Holdings' future, more connected B2B organization. Reporting to the Head of B2B Marketing, this role owns the communications strategy, operating model and governance supporting the organization's B2B business goals, ensuring communications is a strategic enabler of commercial growth, partner engagement and organizational transformation. The Head of Communications will oversee both external and internal communication to strengthen the company's B2B reputation, and drive awareness and engagement among partners, media, and employees globally. The role will own media strategy and execution as well as executive thought leadership focused on strategic partners. This includes developing speaker platforms and shaping B2B media partnership and sponsorship approaches across all key geographies.
As the senior communications advisor to the B2B Leadership Team, the Head of Communications will influence strategic business decisions, organizational change and go-to-market priorities. This is a formative leadership role responsible for creating a new global communications capability from the ground up, including strategy, governance, channels, measurement, operating processes and team development. The role partners closely with B2B Marketing, Commercial, Product, Corporate Communications and Brand leaders to ensure communications supports business objectives while remaining aligned with Booking Holdings' enterprise priorities, standards and messaging.
In this role you will get to:
  • Define and Drive the B2B Communications Strategy, Narrative & Positioning: Establish the organization's purpose, narrative and messaging focused on tech leadership and partner-centric solutions, while ensuring communications supports long-term business and commercial objectives.
  • Lead External Media Engagement: Build and oversee a global external communications program, including managing global media relationships across trade, business, and tech media, leading proactive storytelling, issues and reputation management.
  • Elevate Executive Thought Leadership: Act as the primary communications advisor to the CEO and senior leadership team, shaping executive positioning, speaking strategy, media engagements, and social media content (e.g., LinkedIn) to reinforce industry credibility.
  • Drive Internal Engagement: Design the communications strategy and oversee internal B2B communications globally to engage employees, support organizational transformation, mark major milestones, and translate change initiatives into clear, human-centered narratives.
  • Establish the B2B Communications Capability from the Ground Up: Establish core channels, governance, agency partnerships, and measurement frameworks (metrics and feedback loops), as well as coaching talent, to build a scalable, high-performing global communications function.
  • Ensure Global Alignment & Collaboration: Represent the B2B organization within Booking Holdings' enterprise communications leadership, partnering closely with the company's central corporate communication leads and brands to align B2B communications with enterprise priorities and strategy.

  • Strategic Insight: Ability to analyze and translate complex business priorities into clear communication strategies, providing high quality counsel to senior leadership and influencing executive decision making.
  • Storytelling: Exceptional writing and narrative-development skills, with the ability to craft compelling, insight-led messaging tailored to diverse global audiences and channels.
  • Global Experience: Deep experience working across international markets, with strong understanding of the media, business and cultural landscapes in North America, Europe and Asia. Able to translate global priorities into locally relevant strategies and communications, while effectively navigating regional nuances and stakeholder expectations.
  • Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to navigate complex, matrixed organisations, building alignment across VP- and C-suite stakeholders, influencing cross-functional decision-making, and effectively managing agency partners.
  • Agility & Builder mindset: An experimental, builder-oriented mindset with the ability to create and scale communications capabilities in dynamic, fast-paced and ambiguous environments. Experience establishing communications strategy, governance, operating processes and measurement frameworks while continuously optimizing outcomes as priorities evolve.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of how communications supports business growth, product strategy and go-to-market priorities, with the ability to balance reputational objectives alongside commercial outcomes.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of e-commerce, B2B, technology, including AI, tech, and / or travel industries.
  • Media & External Relations: Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining relationships with media, industry bodies, and key external stakeholders to drive reputation and influence.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Experience leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing

There are a variety of job related factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. In addition to a competitive base salary, roles are eligible to be considered for an annual bonus and equity grant.
The base salary range for Connecticut and the NYC-metro area is $192,000-$288,000.
