Job description

Discreet Cleaning Solution is seeking a Head Janitor to join our team! The candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment in a government facility. The hired candidate will work part time, week days hours starting at 7:30 am. They must be honest, and will be responsible for sanitizing spaces, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash cans, vacuuming and more. The Head Janitor must be a reliable, a self-starter with immense attention to detail, maintaining high cleaning standards without oversight. Key traits include strong time management to complete tasks alone, physical stamina for, and trustworthiness in, handling secure facility. They must also possess initiative to manage inventory and proactively solve problems. Good communication skills are necessary. The goal for the Head Janitor is to maintain a polished, healthy environment, while utilizing a daily checklist. This part time position fits that individual who is a professional with prior knowledge of maintaining commercial facilities in the past.


Responsibilities:

  • Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition
  • Perform cleaning duties such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, sanitizing restrooms
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as dusting, mirror cleaning, and emptying trash can bins
  • Reporting maintenance, and repair needs to Supervisor
  • Organize custodial closets and spaces
  • Maintaining inventory supplies
  • Replenish all paper towel, soap, and toilet paper dispensers

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or other related fields preferred
  • Ability to handle solo or group cleaning
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Security Clearance or Twic Card sets you apart
  • Must pass a National, and Local Background Clearance
  • Strong communication skills
  • Transportation Required
  • Possess a working mobile phone
