Job description

Introduction

Overview

The individual will be responsible for the following:

  • Prepare accountability report, supporting by Account Management Function and FLUs Account Officer:
  • Act as secretariat of LWC (facilitate meetings and prepare meeting minutes);
  • Communicate with Head Office and provide response for Head Office request;
  • Ensure Account Management Team maintain appropriate documentation and file in the Laserfiche;
  • Provide internal, external audit, loan review, regulatory exam response and document request;
  • Prepare or review all types of Head Office report, assisted by Account Management Team and FLUs Account Officer;
  • Prepare booking related instruction to OSD; and
  • Review and reconcile resolution related requirement from Head Office (including Performance Evaluation, Head Office reporting).
Responsibilities

Credit Risk Review

  • Evaluate and analyze financial trends on assigned risk rating of each borrower with in-depth analysis.
  • Analyze all aspects related to the credit report requests, including but not limited to restructured strategy or other exit strategy, historical and projected financial performance, management, industry, market condition, and third party reports in timely fashion.
  • Provide challenges where appropriate.
  • Establish the credit risk view with respect to the strategy's execution soundness or creditworthiness and conformity to the Bank policies and procedures.

Portfolio Management

  • Conduct annual and/or quarterly reviews and periodic NPL loan reporting as required by the Bank's Policy.ย 

  • Monitor market and industry trends and assess impact of industry and/or client specific negative news.ย 

  • Conduct report and committee pipeline management

  • Provide and guide booking instruction from acceptable financial and regulatory standards.

Knowledge and Learning

  • Relevant credit/accounting and legal documentation and industry knowledge.

  • Knowledge of banking products and regulatory requirement.

  • Demonstrate initiative to acquire necessary knowledge (industry, products, market conditions, policies and procedures) to perform job function.

  • Demonstrate progression in learning and application of concepts learned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics required, Master's degree in Finance/Real Estate and MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 4-5 years of Problem Loan Restructuring/Administration work experience required.
  • CFA/FRM certifications preferred.
  • Demonstrate solid experience in credit risk management/due diligence with written credit risk synopsis or loan portfolio reporting.ย 
  • Demonstrate knowledge in credit risk management/due diligence within financial sectors.ย 
  • Bilingual ability in English and Chinese required.
Pay Range

Actual salary is commensurate with candidate's relevant years of experience, skillset, education and other qualifications.
