Job description

Join Hostinger, and we’ll grow fast! 🚀

We’re shaping the future of online success - powered by AI and driven by people. With 900+ talented professionals and over 5 million clients in 150 countries, we help creators and entrepreneurs bring their ideas to life faster and easier than ever before.

Our mission: To provide tools that help individuals and small businesses succeed online faster and easier.

Our culture: Guided by 10 company principles.

Our formula for success: Customer obsession, innovative products, and talented teams.

Your role at Hostinger

Hostinger is at an inflection point. We’ve built a globally recognized product with strong performance marketing and visual execution. Now, we’re stepping into the next phase - building a distinctive, globally recognizable brand that people remember, trust, and choose.

Today, our visuals are strong. But our messaging is not yet where it needs to be.

We are still too often: abstract, inconsistent across channels, diluted in how we express brand value.

We’re looking for a Message Director to change that.

This role is about ending the era of abstract tech-speak at Hostinger and replacing it with a voice that is: clear, confident, distinctive and impossible to ignore.

You will own how Hostinger speaks to the world, - not just at a guideline level, but in the actual words people see, hear, and remember.

Curious to learn more? Connect with your team: Radvilė Jankevičienė, Head of Brand Image

Your goal

Build a clear, scalable, and distinctive messaging system that makes Hostinger easier to understand, easier to remember, and easier to choose.

  • Defining and rolling out a One message framework, a unified system of core narratives, message hierarchy, and verbal principles used across all markets and channels
  • Elevating tone of voice from functional to distinctive and ownable
  • Creating bold, memorable brand campaigns that build long-term trust
Your impact from day one
  • Strong visual identity already exists
  • Messaging is fragmented and inconsistent
  • Multiple teams interpret the brand differently
Your challenge is to
  • Bring clarity where there is fragmentation
  • Replace generic language with clear, intentional messaging
  • Create a system others can actually use and scale
What you’ll own
  • Definition and rollout of the One message framework (core narratives, message hierarchy, principles, tracking its success)
  • Brand tone of voice - making it clear, differentiated, and consistently applied
  • Development of big ideas and conceptual campaigns (independently and with the team)
  • Raising the bar of copywriting craft across Hostinger (website, advertising, products, external communications)
Your day-to-day
  • Define, implement, and evolve the One message framework across all brand communication
  • Redefine and own tone of voice and its real application across teams
  • Personally write and shape high-stakes messaging (campaigns, new product positioning, scripts, taglines, key narratives)
  • Initiate, review, and approve messaging across major brand touchpoints
  • Translate brand positioning into clear, simple, and powerful language
  • Challenge weak, generic, or diluted messaging – weasel words – and replace it with clearer alternatives
  • Mentor and guide writers across teams (CRO, YouTube scriptwriters, tutorial/blog writers, PR, advertising) to raise craft standards
  • Audit competitor messaging to identify opportunities for differentiation
  • Explore new storytelling formats and communication channels
Your skills and experience
  • Proven experience building distinctive brand messaging systems and campaigns
  • Strong ability to turn strategy into clear, simple, compelling language
  • Deep understanding of audience psychology and communication impact
  • Experience working across multiple markets
  • Confidence to challenge senior stakeholders and defend strong creative decisions
  • High standards for copywriting craft, both strategic and hands‑on
  • Ability to operate both as a thinker and a maker
  • Experience in tech or SaaS is a plus
  • High proficiency in English language is a must
How success will be measured
  • Increase in brand recall from brand campaigns
  • Strong consistency of messaging and tone of voice across channels and markets
  • Improvement in brand perception, especially message clarity
  • Clear verbal distinctiveness vs competitors
  • Increased understanding of Hostinger’s value proposition
  • Positive shift in brand sentiment
Who this role is for
  • Is tired of generic tech messaging
  • Cares deeply about the craft of writing
  • Wants to build something defining, not incremental
  • Is motivated to shape how a global brand speaks at scale

🗂️ To be considered, please submit a portfolio showcasing brand campaigns or messaging systems (case study format preferred).
