Job description

Job Title: Associate Director, Business Strategy Analyst
Department: Business Strategy
Reports To: EVP, Head of Business Strategy
FLSA Code: Exempt
Estimated Salary: $150,000 - $170,000
Job Summary:
This Business Strategy Analyst will play a supporting role in shaping and executing the firm's strategic agenda across growth initiatives and platform expansion. Reporting to the Head of Business Strategy, this individual will work with the strategy team, product management and distribution to support, inform and shape initiatives that accelerate revenue growth, broaden product capabilities, and enhance the firm's market presence. This role is designed for a finance professional that has familiarity with asset management and experience with acquisition analysis who can deliver research and participate in setting strategic objectives for the business. Major Responsibilities/Activities:
  • Work with the Head of Business Strategy to conduct analysis, perform research and inform enterprise and business-line strategic plans aligned with the firm's growth objectives.
  • Coordinate stakeholders across investments, product, distribution and finance to align priorities and achieve strategic objectives.
  • Assist in sourcing, modeling, evaluating and executing acquisition and partnership opportunities.
  • Perform strategic diligence including market attractiveness, strategic fit, competitive positioning, and growth assessments.
  • Coordinate with strategy, investments, distribution and finance to support transaction execution.
  • Support executive-level strategy discussions through preparation of materials, insights, and recommendations.
  • Coordinate initiatives including workplan development, stakeholder alignment, progress tracking, and delivery of measurable outcomes.

Minimum Requirements:
  • 4-6 years of experience, ideally with a finance-oriented investment banking or consulting background.
  • Experience supporting M&A or strategic partnership processes preferred.
  • Highly collaborative, strategic, and proactive in approach.
  • Demonstrates inclusive behaviors in support of a culture that values diverse perspectives.
  • Agrees to comply with the firm's hybrid work policy ("work from home policy," as aligned with the Company's employee handbook), which currently requires reporting to the Company's New York City office four (4) days per week, with one (1) remote workday permitted.
