The Opportunity

The Britton Group is seeking aย PeopleSoft HCM Developerย to support the deployment and sustainment of a newย PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM)ย environment for an Intelligence Community customer.

This role focuses on theย technical development, configuration, and customizationย of the PeopleSoft platform to support enterprise workforce management capabilities. The selected candidate will assist in theย installation, configuration, and deployment of a new PeopleSoft HCM implementation, while collaborating with engineers, developers, and mission stakeholders in a secure, agile environment.

While the initial focus of this effort is theย PeopleSoft HCM suite, candidates with broaderย PeopleTools development and PeopleSoft platform experienceย across other modules are strongly encouraged to apply.

This position requires a technically skilled developer capable of translating business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable PeopleSoft solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, configure, and enhanceย PeopleSoft HCM functionalityย usingย PeopleTools and related development technologies

  • Design and implement system components usingย Application Designer, SQR, PeopleCode, and SQL

  • Support theย installation, configuration, and deploymentย of a new PeopleSoft HCM environment

  • Develop custom objects, reports, and integrations to support mission and business requirements

  • Document system designs, technical configurations, and development activities

  • Collaborate withย cloud engineers, application developers, and cybersecurity teamsย to ensure secure and reliable system operations

  • Troubleshoot system issues and implement solutions to improve system performance and stability

  • Support system testing, debugging, and deployment activities in an agile development environment

  • Work with stakeholders and end users to understand technical requirements and translate them into system capabilities

  • Recommendย best practices for PeopleSoft development, customization, and platform maintenance

Required Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph. Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph, with the ability to obtain a FSP, will also be considered.ย 

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience)

  • 3+ years of experienceย developing or supporting PeopleSoft environments (multiple experience levels may be considered)

  • Experience withย PeopleSoft development tools, including:

    • Application Designer

    • PeopleCode

    • SQR

    • SQL / SQL Developer

  • Experience supportingย PeopleSoft implementation, upgrades, or operations and maintenance activities

  • Experience configuring or developing withinย PeopleSoft or comparable Oracle enterprise platforms

Desired Experience
  • Experience supportingย PeopleSoft HCM modules

  • Familiarity withย PeopleSoft integrations, reporting tools, and data management

  • Experience working inย Agile or DevSecOps environments

  • Experience supportingย secure federal or Intelligence Community programs
