Job description

Position Title: Transportation and Traffic Management Manager (TTMM)
This position requires a BS degree and active duty USAF service. The TTMM manager shall have a minimum of three years of experience within the last ten years in a traffic management organization responsible for freight movement and passenger services, be a high school graduate or equivalent, and be Hazardous Cargo certified Must have experience managing a full range of traffic management services for base organizations, to include day-to-day, exercise and contingency operations. Must have experience with passenger movement services coordination and arrangements for commercial surface and air and Air Mobility Command (AMC) scheduled military and contract airlift. Must have experience with managing cargo shipments packaging and processing for movement IAW Department of Transportation (DOT) and DoD directives and shipped via small package carrier, commercial trucking company and commercial and military air.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead duties including, but not limited to:
  1. Manage a USAF Base transportation and traffic management organization
  2. Knowledge of and experience with managing a team with multiple functions.
  3. Knowledge of and experience with USAF cargo shipment, packaging and processing.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
  1. Knowledge of USAF Transportation and Traffic Management regulations
  2. Knowledge USAF HAZMAT Cargo, safety and environmental regulations
  3. Knowledge of and experience managing a team with multiple functions
  4. Experience with passenger movement services to include coordination for commercial surface, air and AMC military air lift.
  5. Knowledge of cargo shipments, DOT and DOD cargo directives and commercial trucking, milair and commair shipping.

Minimum Job Requirements:
