Job description

We're seeking a Senior Functional Analyst with strong experience in Field Service Management (FSM) solutions to join a fast-growing, service-oriented business. This person will help advance enterprise FSM environment, currently based on IFS Field Service Management, while supporting future platform evaluation and configuration efforts.


Need: Solid FSM domain expertise — whether from SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or another comparable system.


Overview:

This is a Business Systems Analyst-type functional role with hands-on configuration responsibilities. The ideal candidate excels at translating business needs into functional solutions and enjoys collaborating across business and technical teams.


Core Responsibilities:

• Gather and translate business requirements into functional and system designs.

• Develop functional and design documentation.

• Configure FSM system components (IFS training provided).

• Support data mapping and integrations, primarily via Boomi.

• Execute system enhancements and light break/fix work (minimal production support).

• Partner with field teams and key business stakeholders.

• Participate in future FSM system selection and evaluation (planned within ~2 years).


Key Qualifications

• Required: Strong Field Service Management domain experience.

• Functional Expertise: Analytical thinking, detailed documentation, system configuration.

• Technical Exposure: Integrations and data mapping experience.

• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication and stakeholder collaboration.

• Mindset: Curiosity, adaptability, and eagerness to learn new enterprise systems.


Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with Boomi integrations.
