General Description
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will support recruitment and human resources administrative functions for the corporate office and property-level operations. This position is responsible for managing full-cycle recruitment activities, including candidate sourcing, interview coordination, pre-employment screening, onboarding and orientation. Additional responsibilities include outreach initiatives, participating in career fairs, coordinating hiring efforts with department leaders, assisting with retention and recognition programs, and providing administrative support to the human resources team. The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a key role in attracting, hiring, and retaining top talent while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
Work Requirement
Key Responsibilities
  • Support recruitment and administrative functions for the management company and property-level operations while ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain and manage the Applicant Tracking System, candidate pipelines, and recruitment records to ensure accurate documentation and compliance with company recordkeeping requirements.
  • Coordinate full-cycle talent acquisition activities, including creating, posting, and maintaining job advertisements on recruiting platforms such as Indeed, LinkedIn, company career sites, HCareers, Hospitality Online, and other sourcing channels.
  • Serve as a recruitment ambassador by participating in career fairs, networking events, community outreach programs, and hospitality industry recruiting initiatives to attract qualified candidates.
  • Conduct resume reviews, candidate screenings, and initial phone interviews; coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and department leaders.
  • Partner with hiring managers to review, update, and maintain standardized job descriptions and position requirements.
  • Process pre-employment activities, including background checks, employment verification, reference checks, and drug screening authorizations.
  • Maintain a consistent process for Form I-9 employment eligibility verification in accordance with USCIS and E-Verify guidelines while maintaining accurate and compliant records.
  • Prepare and distribute offer letters, new-hire paperwork, and onboarding documentation.
  • Coordinate and facilitate new-hire orientation programs and onboarding activities to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates and new hires, providing timely communication and delivering a positive recruitment and onboarding experience.
  • Maintain employee personnel files, recruitment reports, onboarding records, and other HR documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in HR and recruitment audits and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives that enhance compliance, efficiency, and overall talent acquisition effectiveness.
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality, professionalism, and data integrity when handling employee and candidate information.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Physical Requirements
  • Regular travel between the corporate office and various hotel properties will be required. Candidates must have reliable transportation and possess a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to walk, stand and sit as required throughout the day.
  • Ability to type 40 WPM.
  • Must arrive to work well groomed, with pristine hygiene, and professional attire.

Education and Experience Requirements
  • High school diploma/4-year degree preferred.
  • Hospitality experience preferred.
  • 2+ years' recruitment or HR experience preferred
  • Experience in Workday or similar systems preferred
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
