We're seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Mechanic to support commercial new construction and renovations. This role focuses on installing HVAC duct systems and related equipment in commercial buildings.

Compensation: Hourly rates starting at $25/hr+ depending on experience

What You'll Be Doing
  • Install commercial sheet metal duct systems and HVAC equipment for new construction and renovation projects

  • Fabricate, assemble, and install a variety of duct systems including sheet metal, flexible duct, duct board, and duct socks

  • Read and interpret blueprints and layout ductwork and equipment

  • Work independently or as part of a larger crew to meet project deadlines

  • Coordinate with foremen and other trades; support/mentor apprentices, as assigned

  • Support and mentor apprentices or junior mechanics as needed

What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED required

  • At least 3 years of experience in commercial sheet metal or HVAC duct installation

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English to read plans, follow safety instructions, and coordinate with jobsite teams

  • Ability to read and work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications, with a solid understanding of commercial air distribution systems, SMACNA standards, and sheet metal installation methods

  • Scissor lift, boom lift, and rough-terrain forklift experience or certifications (or ability to obtain upon hire)

  • Lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding, outdoor construction environments

  • Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License, clean driving record and ability to pass physical, drug, and background checks
