PHA (Process Hazard Analysis) Facilitator

Midland, TX | Carlsbad, NM

Pay: BOE (Based on Experience)
$74/Day Per Diem

Premier Staffing Solution is seeking experienced PHA (Process Hazard Analysis) Facilitators to support a major oil & gas client  in Midland, TX and Carlsbad, NM.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Process Safety professionals with a strong background facilitating Guideword HAZOP and/or LOPA studies in upstream oil & gas or production facility environments.

Position Responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) sessions.
  • Conduct Guideword HAZOP and/or LOPA studies for oil & gas production facilities.
  • Identify process hazards, evaluate risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Work closely with engineering, operations, maintenance, and project teams.
  • Ensure compliance with company process safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Document findings, recommendations, and action items from PHA studies.
  • Apply API and NFPA standards to upstream production and facilities design.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of oil & gas, process engineering, or facilities engineering experience preferred.
  • Extensive experience facilitating Guideword HAZOP and/or LOPA studies.
  • Strong understanding of Process Safety Management (PSM) principles.
  • Experience with API and NFPA standards for upstream operations or facilities design.
  • Previous ExxonMobil experience or ExxonMobil annuitants are highly preferred.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and facilitation skills.
