Job description

Hawaii Pacific Freight is seeking a reliable Local Class A CDL Driver to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight between locations while ensuring top notch customer service as well as timely and efficient deliveries.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely Operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight between terminals, warehouses, and customer locations
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers
  • Safely load and unload cargo as required
  • Ensure accurate and timely deliveries while maintaining logs of working hours and following DOT regulations
  • Communicate effectively and report any issues or incidents to dispatch
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in truck driving or other related fields
  • Commercial driver's license
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Strong work ethic
