To provide a safe environment and excellent care to our residents.

• Safety first! Mindset
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies
• Assist residents with ambulation, transfers, personal care, incontinence care, showering, dressing, grooming, meal and drink prep and consumption, med administration, basic first aid
• Prepare residents for outside appointments
• Chart on Vital Signs Sheet and Daily Service Plan Sheet for your resident assignments
• Ensure outside services (hospice aides, physical therapists, etc) are given report prior to assuming care on your resident and are shown where to sign in, linen closet location, dispose of trash, take laundry, etc.)

• Take Vital Signs and recheck vital signs that are out of parameters
• Inform manager of any change in status in residents or any family/resident complaints
• Laundry & Housekeeping Services
• Kitchen duties
• Prevent bed sores and injuries on residents
• Honor each resident’s Advance Directives
• Activities with Residents

• Be a pleasant and supportive companion

• Assist with grocery delivery and restocking
• Inform Hospice aides of supplies needed (gloves, pads, adult depends, barrier cream, wipes, etc.)
• Provide Doctors with an “Orders” form as needed, answer phones
