Hartzell Propeller is the global leader in advanced aircraft propeller design and manufacturing technology for general aviation applications – both piston engine and turboprop – as well as custom propulsion solutions for electric, hybrid-electric aircraft and advanced air mobility programs. In 2021, Hartzell Propeller acquired Tanis Aircraft Products to expand Hartzell’s heating products and expanded its offerings in the experimental propeller market with the acquisition of Whirlwind Propeller in 2024. Hartzell expanded its offerings in the MRO market with 2024 acquisitions of American Propeller Service, Texas Aircraft Propeller and Tiffin Aire Inc.

Job Summary

Hartzell Service Center is seeking a technical support resource who is responsible for managing new product returns and conducting engineering evaluations related to service issues within our repair station. This role offers a diverse workload, combining routine responsibilities with special projects and assignments. The ideal candidate enjoys variety in their workday and is comfortable adapting to changing priorities and challenges.

Key Deliverables

  • Resource to resolve complex, high-priority, or escalated technical issues.
  • Partner with engineering and product teams to resolve systemic issues.
  • Performs work on new articles that have been shipped from the factory.
  • Contribute to product improvement, testing, and process optimization.
  • Processes Service Difficulties and returned inventory
  • Performs work on tooling and equipment in accordance with factory drawings and specifications.
Requirements:

Education/Experience

· Deep expertise in company products, systems, and troubleshooting processes

· Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, product, and QA teams

· Associate’s degree or equivalent technical training preferred

· 4+ years of technical support or related experience

· Works under minimal supervision
