Job Description
Key Responsibilities May Include:
  • Execute test and validation plans, including configuring test devices, performing inspections, and ensuring readiness for testing activities.
  • Collect, organize, analyze, and present test data, preparing comprehensive reports for hardware team members.
  • Gain proficiency in managing dashboards using Brambles' in-house data ingestion software (BRIX) and continuously improve IoT and test engineering knowledge.
  • Perform troubleshooting and resolution of hardware failures, conducting tests to identify failure modes and key variables.
  • Manage and maintain organized records of production devices, prototypes, and test equipment inventory, including inspecting field test devices and coordinating shipments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and suppliers to plan resources and materials necessary for hardware testing and validation.
  • Provide expertise during hardware design stages, supporting development teams with insights and recommendations to improve solutions.

POSITION PURPOSE
The Field Test Engineer will perform data analysis for IoT hardware during field testing or from deployment activities.
This role is ideal for a person with insight and data analysis experience in a product testing or validation function, or a want to learn testing and validation functions.
This position is crucial for the team to effectively deliver valuable analysis and insights to drive key IoT hardware business decisions.
SCOPE
This position will be testing or validating IoT Hardware performance for field testing or deployment activities. This position will need to learn IoT hardware operations to effectively analyze performance.
This person will execute or support other team members in complex data analysis. This role will also perform test/validation activities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
โ€ข Test/validation plan development, execution, analysis, and report out experience OR willingness to gain this experience and perform assigned testing/validation activities.

EXPERIENCE
โ€ข 3+ years of Data Analytics experience in turning data into insights and recommendations for action.
โ€ข 2+ years of experience in communicating (verbal and written) insights to technical and non-technical Stakeholders.
โ€ข 1+ year of data analysis on IoT hardware, equipment, or other product where operational performance data had to be collected, analyzed, and visualized.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
โ€ข Excellent teamwork skills, capable of working effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
