We have an exciting opportunity for a Space Hardware Project Engineer to join our JETS II contract team at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX. If selected you will: Provide design and test support in various aspects of development in support of the Johnson Space Center Engineering DirectorateSupport project teams with development of test procedures and verification and validation processesPerform testing and verification of flight hardwareMaintain and ensure baseline test configurations and document any configuration changesGenerate essential paperwork and documents for tasks assigned, such as Task Performance Sheets (TPS), Discrepancy Reports (DR), and Detailed Test Procedures (DTP), as neededWork in a collaborative, team environment and report to project managers for technical support, task assignment, and processesPlan and execute hardware troubleshooting to investigate mechanical and electrical failures within hardware or test support hardwarePerform job functions based on pre-established guidelines or instructionsWork with technicians to build and test designed systemsPerform other duties as required​Qualifications: This position has been posted at multiple levels.
